1 Introduction
I would like to propose a furniture shop in The Big.  The shop would offer a kaleidoscopic collection of unique and splendid furniture at reasonable prices.  Selling furniture could indeed be a lucrative business.

2 Details of the Furniture Shop
2.1 Antique Furniture
The shop would retail antique furniture, which is elegant and invaluable. Those antiques would be assembled from all around the world, including Britain, France, Italy, China and the like.  All certified genuine, they would be suitable for domestic use, or can even be collectables.
2.2 Contemporary Furniture
All contemporary furniture available in the shop would be designed by renowned and brilliant designers.  It would be trendy, stylish and elegantly made.  Since the living standard of Hong Kong people keeps on rocketing, it is very likely that contemporary furniture would be in great demand.
2.3 Self-designed Furniture
If customers wish to design their own furniture, the shop can manufacture and retail the furniture they design.

3 Target customers
3.1 The Middle Class
The middle class are trendy.  They would be attracted by the contemporary and stylistic furniture displayed in the shop.  They may also enjoy the service of self-designing furniture to create a home of real character.
3.2 The Upper Class
Since the price of the antiques in the ship is considerably high, the upper class, who are of high economic ability, could afford to purchase the furniture.  Furthermore, the antique furniture assembled would be from various countries, which should attract patrons with different preferences.

4 Marketing Strategies
4.1 Online Advertisement
A website and a fans page on Facebook would be set up to advertise the stock online.  This can enable potential customers to have an idea about the furniture displayed prior to their visit to the shop.  Discounts or special offers would also be disclosed online.  Applications for smart phones would be created for promoting the furniture.
4.2 Exhibition of Antique Furniture
There would be exhibitions of antique furniture to attract customers, especially collectors.  During exhibitions, interested buyers could have abundant information about the antiques.  Besides, discounts would be provided if antiques are bought during exhibitions, prompting customers to patronize the ship more eagerly.
4.3 Promotional Catalogues
By collaborating with interior designers, the shop would print catalogues introducing fashionable mix-and-match of stylish furniture. The catalogues would also be uploaded on the shop’s website to draw the attention of the middle-class customers.

5 Mutual Benefits
5.1 Influx of Patrons with High Purchasing Power
Both the middle-class and upper-class customers are of huge purchasing power.  Their visit can benefit other shops in the mall.  For example, restaurants could enjoy the increase of customers who are more willing to order upmarket food.  The reputation of the mall might be raised if there is agglomeration of the well-off.
5.2 Discounts
Providing discounts to customers could be mutually advantageous.  It is planned that a discount of 20% off will be given to customers if they at least spend $500 in the mall.  Not only could the sales be boosted, but this could also encourage customers to frequent the mall more.

6 Conclusion
Setting up a furniture ship in The Big is indeed very lucrative as the return is conceivably satisfactory.  I would appeal for your approval to start my business here.
