Many things or people can be used to represent the Chinese culture. For me, I think the Chang Jiang River can best represent the Chinese culture, because there are several similarities between the Chinese culture and Chang Jiang. Chang Jiang is important to the cultural origins of China because a long time ago, people mainly lived in the Chang Jiang Basin and thus the culture began along the river. As Chang Jiang was the birthplace of the Chinese culture, it can definitely represent the Chinese culture.
Everyone knows that Chang Jiang is the longest river in China and we are proud of it. The Chinese culture is just similar to Chang Jiang: it has a long history – more than two thousand years – and we feel superior about this. As Chang Jiang and the Chinese culture have this similarity, it can absolutely represent the Chinese culture.
The water in Chang Jiang will never dry out as large amounts of water flow into Chang Jiang and never stop. Likewise, the Chinese culture will flow in an endless stream and spread forever as it remains unshakable and becomes even stronger as time goes by. As Chang Jiang and the Chinese culture have similar characteristics, it can surely represent the Chinese culture.
The Chang Jiang is very mighty and impressive; just like the Chinese culture, vast and impressive. Thus, Chang Jiang can be used to represent the Chinese culture.
In conclusion, Chang Jiang shows a lot of features of the Chinese culture, and therefore, the thing that can best represent the Chinese culture is, without a doubt, the Chang Jiang River.
