Let me tell you about a mystery location. All the Carmelians must have been to this place before.
When you are there, you can see some green benches and stone tables decorated with colorful tiles that were designed by the students. Also, there were one or two trees between each table before Typhoon Mangkhut struck Hong Kong, but now the trees all collapsed. The biggest hint is that you can see it is full of students during UT or Exams who are all revising. When it is not the time for UT and Exams, they are usually chatting or enjoying their snacks there.
Second, I am going to tell you what you can hear if you sit on those benches. You can hear students shouting and basketball shooting into the basket. You may hear some noise like ‘beep-beep’ when cars drive by and even when some people chatting sound as there is a bus stop on the other side of the wall. When it is lesson time and nothing passes by on the other side of the wall, it is totally silent like a library.
After hearing, it is time for smelling. Smells of snacks like curry fish balls or instant noodles are what you can smell there during lunch or recess since this mystery location is near the tuck shop which is just downstairs. Sometimes, you may smell of some stinky sweat because it is near the basketball court too.
Lastly, I will share what we can taste. Sometimes, when I walk by this mystery location at lunch or recess, I can taste of chicken nuggets or other snacks which are given by my friends.
