“What’s going on with you, human? You will make me happy if you die! Aren’t you dead yet?”
As the band of five, called KEMONO, which in Japanese means “Beasts” played their music on the stage, all the fans shouted the band’s slogan.
“WE ARE BEASTS THAT SLAUGHTER!”
Chas was one of the fans. He was a tall high school boy with shoulder-length dyed gold hair. He started listening to KEMONO’s music a month ago and quickly became addicted to it. When the band announced that they would hold a band live, Chas immediately bought the ticket without second thoughts. He himself was also shocked that he could be in love with a band in such a short period of time.
“WE ARE BEASTS THAT SLAUGHTER!”
The band’s slogan kept spinning in his mind when he arrived home from the band show. He knew he shouldn’t have had such thoughts, but he just couldn’t stop himself from thinking about it. Imaginations of killing somebody kept flooding into his mind. He felt guilty and yet contented at the same time.
At dinnertime, Chas sat at the dining table as usual with his only family member, his sister, as their parents had passed away a few years ago. Suddenly, he heard someone next door shouting, “WE ARE BEASTS THAT SLAUGHTER!” He felt that he couldn’t control himself, even his own mind. He took a glass plate in his hand and swung it on his sister’s face. Blood immediately ran over on her face. Pieces of glass stuck through her flesh. She fell on the floor, howling painfully. Looking at his sister, Chas felt very comfortable. He sat by her side and whispered, “I’m the beast that slaughters.” He took her hand and licked away the blood dripping from her fingertips. All of a sudden, he realized that he hadn’t eaten his meal yet. He took a knife, sliced his sister’s meat and put it into his mouth. Chas found he even enjoyed filling his mouth with his sister’s flesh!
After some time, Chas heard dogs barking. He finally got back his consciousness and looked at what he had done. Tears flooded his eyes. He had killed his ONLY family member. He was so frightened and ran out of the house. Chas ran and ran until he arrived at a bridge.
“I’ve killed my sister, and now I’m going to kill myself! I'M THE BEAST THAT SLAUGHTERS!”
He slit his own throat. Blood was everywhere and songs of KEMONO were played right from Chas’s cell phone while his head dropped down the bridge and fell into the river below.
Watch out! Violent songs can kill.
