I would not consider applying for public housing once I leave school because of three reasons.
First of all, I am a filial person. I know that my parents are growing old day by day. I need to stay closer with my parents and look after them. Once I leave school, I can find a job to support my family. Although I can earn income, renting a public housing flat is still a burden. I think if I save the money, I can improve my parents’ livelihood. Therefore, I would not consider applying for public housing once I leave school.
Second, applying for public housing need to wait for a long period of time. No one will know how long I need to wait. If the case is like that, I think I would not choose to apply for public housing. I would like to choose to rent or buy a private flat. Therefore, I would not consider applying for public housing once I leave school.
Finally, the number of public housing is not that enough. The evidence is that many people need to wait for the flat but these people also wiling to apply. I think I can afford a private flat. I would like to give the chance to the ones who really need it. Therefore, I would not consider applying for public housing once I leave school.
