John was once a naughty boy but he had changed his bad acts. However, there were still some unhealthy habits which affected his health. He was never the healthiest.
He was never healthy because he had always eaten unhealthy food. Every day when he went back home, he tucked into a pack of potato chips before doing anything. This was unhealthy since potato chips contains a lot of salt and oil and it will make him have a bad health.
Secondly, he was never healthy because he never liked to eat healthy food. During dinner time, his parents always called him to eat some more vegetables. However, he turned them down every single time. So, these reasons cleared up why John was putting on weight.
His health was getting worse and he was getting fatter and fatter. The effects of obesity were showing a lot. At that time, he could doze off easily. Also, he could not run very fast, so he was always falling behind while running during PE lessons. The parents of John also noticed these things happening during that time. Therefore, they decided to take action in order to help him. His parents decided to take him to do different sports activities. However, John refused to do any of them, resulting in a bad health.
Finally, the negative effects of obesity came to light. One day, when he was going back home through a dark road, he was being robbed. Suddenly, a man ran past him like a flash and took away his wallet. John realized a second after that the robber robbed away his wallet and he decided to chase after the robber. However, due to his huge size, he could not run and blacked out.
Somebody nearby spotted him like that and so that person called for an ambulance to back John up. John was delivered to the hospital in split seconds. Luckily, he did not have any serious problems. However, although he called the police to catch the thief, it was already too late and he could not get back the wallet unfortunately.
Although he lost his wallet during this accident, this accident changed his mind. After getting out of the hospital, he finally figured out why he needed to be healthy and he decided to lose some weight and beef up his own body. From that day onwards, John went down the streets to work out through running every single night.
A few months later, his body had an enormous change. He was no longer obese but in a decent shape. He could run fast, even faster than some of his healthy classmates. He would seldom run out of breath.
One day, when he was going back home through the dark road, he got pushed by a running man. John soon recognized him and realized that he was being robbed again. He was extremely surprised since he hadn’t thought of seeing the thief again and it scared him. Although John was not strong enough to resist the thief from stealing away his wallet, he had the strength to chase after the thief. After some chasing, John successfully caught the thief and called for police.
After the thief was caught, John told the police that the thief had robbed him. Finally, he got back all the money the thief stole and the thief got heavily punished. From that day onwards, the thief died out and John has never come across him again.
So, this story of John reminds me of how being healthy helps. It not only helps with our health, but also makes us resist from unexpected events cropping up. Therefore, let’s be healthy!
