The impact of mobile phone addiction is huge. It changes the way people communicate and interact, but at the same time, it leads to plenty of problems.
Nowadays many teenagers stare at their phone all the time, even when they have something else to do. They are always multi-tasking. When they finally realise that they are running out of time, they will have to do everything in a hurry so the quality of their work will not be satisfactory. Also, having to do things quickly does give people a lot of stress, and this might be one of the reasons why teenagers are so stressed nowadays.
As teenagers also tend to use their phones constantly, they are exhausted and cannot concentrate on schoolwork. What’s more, they are too tired to go outdoors for a walk or exercise and that is not good for health at all.
Still I think the problem can be solved. Parents should spend more time going outdoors with their children. Adults can also tell their children that they are concerned about their physical well-being and restrict their use of the phone. If teens can enjoy more outdoor activities, those who stay indoors would feel left out. Eventually they’d rather go out to play with their friends leaving their phones behind.
