Miss Katherine is the most enchanting woman in the town. She is a beautiful lady who will make you fall in love with her with just one sight at her face. When she is teaching her students in her school, many men listen and look at her too but nobody of her to learn knowledge from at her. They just care about the beauty of her and keep looking at her face. There is a man who is among those people. His name is Charles Walker. He is the son of the richest man in the country. He also wants to have a date with Miss Katherine but he does not know she has already fallen in love with someone else.

When Charles Walker who is the richest and the most influential man in the town says that he wants to have a date with her, she says “no” because he is not the one she loves. Then Miss Katherine slaps him without any fears. She runs out and tries to save Sam but everything is too late. Sam has been killed by Charles Walker! The other characteristic of Miss Katherine is resolute. We can know that she is resolute because she falls in love with a Negro. This is a taboo at that time. She fights against racism. And after she becomes Kissing Kate Barlow, the robber for twenty years, she goes back to the town. She meets Charles Walker and his wife there. They try to threaten her with guns to make her tell them where her money has been hidden. But she chooses to end her tragic life with a bite of a yellow-spotted lizard. And nobody will ever know where her money hidden anymore.
