Hello mates! Today I am gonna share with you some exciting news. Justin Bieber’s ‘All in it’ has got nominated for a local music award! Though I often share my music taste with you, through my different news updated, I bet you guys must know how deeply, crazily and endlessly I’ve fallen into this song. And, this time, for celebration of JB’s nomination, I’d tell you why and how this song is amazingly, wonderfully and surprisingly made.
I’m not really a die-hard fan of Justin Bieber. I even hated his works before. However, this time, I deeply love his album, especially the single, ‘All in it’. Not to mention how catchy and romantic the melody is, the lyrics have melted my heart. What makes it so special is that the lyrics this time are not about those silly love or break-up stuff. It talks about OURSELVES. The lyrics mentioned, ‘sometimes it’s not about how best you’re, it’s about have you done your best.’ – because humans aren’t perfect. And when you’re not perfect, you can sometimes disappoint people. And with God, he’s perfect and he never disappoints. This did make me cry. No joking! That did happen. We always ask for the best, the perfect and the greatest thing but we neglect we just cannot do that. The lyrics in ‘All in it’ reminded me not to be too hard on myself because we’re humans and we have flaws, numerous flaws. What counts is how hard we do and whether we have done our best! We just need to give the best we could and even though it didn’t meet others’ expectations. It’s okay. It’s always about yourself and God, but not others.
Sounds old-school, right? I thought of it, too. But when I kept on listening to the song, all the memories rushed back to my brain. I remembered how silly I was to live only to others’ expectations but not being myself. Especially when I thought of the time when I studied so hard for the Math test and still couldn’t get a good grade, I cried like hell. How dumb I was. When the memories kept coming back, I found my tears silently roll down on my face. Well, no more old-school but really touching.
I believe this is what makes ‘All in it’ so special and changes the mind for the old, foolish and lame Justin Bieber into someone who really has something to show. ‘Sorry’ definitely stands out from other songs. Take the very hit, trendy and popular one, Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ as an example. Again, meaningless, repetitive and boring love song. (Sorry, Swifties.) Although its melody is quite nice, the same romantic theme just doesn’t work for me. I want something unique. Our music factory needs something more than romance too! ‘All in it’ is a great chance, as well as an awesome opportunity for us to tell all the music producers that we need more varieties of songs.
Then, how to do so? Well, you can make your first move by giving your valuable, glorious and important vote for the award the ‘All in it’ has been nominated. That’s a local music award, HKLMA (Hong Kong Local Music Awards), as the Best Song of the Year. Since the winner will be decided by a public vote, I’m gonna ask you to cast your vote to him. For those who have never listened to this song, please give it a try. This Justin Bieber’s song will turn around all the old stereotypes you have towards Justin Bieber. You will find his work not as bad as you think. Or, at least, believe in my style and taste of music. I have never recommended any bad thing to you guys, haven’t I?
While some people are shouting and claiming that our music industry is dying, I still believe there is a chance. It is not the dead end yet. Well, ‘All in it’ is then the golden opportunity for us to save our music industry. Why don’t we just give our little support and votes to it? Really, small effort still counts. ‘All in it’ is no doubt the most meaningful, catchy and outstanding music of the year. It tells us that pop-songs don’t need to be all-romance but something more about life and love to ourselves. Make your vote and show your support through the website, www.hklma.com. Hopefully, I can share you good news about it later. Gonna keep you guys updated.
