This mystery location is very easy, actually too easy to guess, when I write the first sentence, everyone will know the place already but I’d still like to describe this location for it is one of my favorite places.
This place is in the New Wing and you have to go up a few staircases before you reach it. When you enter it, especially in hot summer days, you will feel relaxed and peaceful inside yourself. The air conditioning there is very cool and breezy.
Sometimes, when boys have just finished playing sports and they feel hot, they may go inside to cool themselves down. When they do so, many other students will avoid them because of their bad smell! But if there aren’t any smelly students, when you take a deep breath inside this place, you can’t smell any special scent but only some cold air that’s really refreshing.
Inside, there are a couple of computers, tables and chairs in the front. The computers are arranged horizontally, all in rows and the tables and chairs are separated into a few different rows. Usually, the tables are occupied by higher form students, studying quietly by themselves or with a couple of friends. They either study there or at some small “cubicles” at the back.
This place is a quiet place, students and teachers are not allowed to speak loudly here. Also, this place has shelves and shelves of books of all kinds of topics and types for students to choose. The books are categorized into Art, History, Fiction, Science, etc. and arranged in alphabetical order.
Students walk quietly and talk softly in this place. They choose the book they want to read and either borrow it or read it silently on the sofa in the front.
When you want to borrow a book, you have to line up and when it’s your turn, you reach the counter and give your student ID card and your book to a teacher or student. Both teachers and students work in this place, their jobs are to help renew and borrow books and keep this location in good order.
When you step out of this place, you will near many loud speaking and laughing from students for it is near classrooms and washrooms. The feeling outside is very different from that inside, almost the opposite!
I think all you have already guessed my mystery location ages ago and everyone normal will guess it correctly. So, I won’t waste any more time and energy. What is my mystery location?
