I am a useful watch which was born in a BIG factory in Thailand. I came to Hong Kong when I was young. After I came to Hong Kong, I lived in a shop which had many different watches. There was also a big poster with my face on it! I was very famous. There were many people to buy my sisters. But nobody came to buy me. I was the only one that had to stay in a big glass box with other beautiful watches. Poor me!
” There must be something wrong! Am I ugly? Am I hurt somewhere?” I thought.
I had no choice but waited, day after day. I had already waited for a long time. The one who saved me was a little girl. She was cute. I knew that she would be my master. But why should she choose me? I was a watch that was not beautiful. I only had some functions —– I could stay in the water, I could know the world time, I could also protect myself from the hit…
Well, this girl loved me very much. She brought me to many places, like school, playground and so on. I stayed with her year after year. Now, she has already grown up and become an adult.
“Oh…My master has become so beautiful! I’m just an old, ugly watch.” I was very worried if I could stay with her for more time. I was very afraid if she would throw me away.
But my mind is wrong. She does not throw me away, she keeps wearing me. I feel loved.
I know that I can keep working for my master and she will also wear me forever. I have no regret for this life.
