Hello, my name is Amelie Lau. I have two nicknames. One is Ame. Only my real-life friends call me that though because they are lazy. My online friends call me Amy. The story behind this name is quite interesting. It is because one of them can’t pronounce my real name, so they make it Amy.
I have changed my appearance much. For example, just three months ago I had long hair with no glasses, and now I have short hair and brown-rimmed glasses! I have a chubby face. Of course, my family thinks it is cute, but I think it makes me look fat. I might be wrong, though.
As for my personality, it changes a lot, but for now, I’ll say that I’m an ambivert. Sometimes I enjoy going outside and socializing with others. Sometimes I like to be alone. Other than that, I’m a friendly, hard-working, and pleasant person, just a bit of an overthinker.
Everyone has their ambitions. Some might fulfill it; some won’t. I’m a simple person. I want to survive in this world when I grow up. I want to buy this book called “IMMUNE”. It’s about human biology. I’m interested in biology, so I want to be a biologist, but not all dreams can come true. That’s why I don’t mind being an office worker and an ordinary member of society.
I’ve already said that I like biology. Other than that, I have other interests too, for example, skateboarding, skating, and playing badminton, and I would like to talk about skateboarding. Many people already know that most skateboarders can do lots of tricks, but do you know that behind the scenes, skateboarding is mostly about overcoming your fears? When I first started, I couldn’t even stand on the board! But after telling myself to be brave, I keep progressing. Of course, I am no master of it, but I still enjoy playing it!
At the end of the day, I’m just a twelve-year-old girl trying to enjoy life.
