According to a research from Oxford University, young people who love reading have a better chance for career success. I agree with that.
We can absorb knowledge in the books. As we can’t get all the knowledge in the books at school, we can learn more than others through reading books. We can get good results in exam too and so we can enter the university more easily. After that, we can get a professional job because we have a degree at the university.
There are different kinds of books. For example, there are fables, stories, comics, etc. People who read comics or magazines can’t improve their knowledge. Therefore, we should find the suitable books. Otherwise, we will waste our time. When we compare with others, people who are successful don’t read any comic.
Besides, Taylor suggests that extracurricular activities might be more beneficial than computer games and doing no other activities is not good. Our academic results will drop seriously.
In my opinion, if we want to get a good job, we should read more books to improve our knowledge. We can go to the library and borrow books. There, we don’t need to pay any money but we can learn more knowledge comfortably because the environment in the library is very good.
