You would like to share with other attendees why you love HK so much and that it is surely a great tourist destination. Write the speech.
Good morning everyone. I’m quite excited right now as the following few minutes will be me sharing something extraordinary about Hong Kong with all of you. Let’s get started, shall we?
I live in Hong Kong, and when it comes to tourism, I’m proud to say that Hong Kong really has its edge. The attractions in Hong Kong are simply fabulous and amusing. For tourists, Hong Kong Disneyland is a must-go destination. The most iconic firework ‘Disney in the Stars’ will surely make you feel wonderful and fantastic. If you aren’t interested in theme parks, the famous shopping paradise in Tsim Sha Tsui is undoubtedly a great choice. From trendy backpacks to luxurious handbags, high-end electronic gadgets to gorgeous looking clothes, the shops there will never fail you from admiring the attractiveness of Hong Kong. Moreover, these places aren’t just for tourists. We locals also come and go there anytime. The wide variety of destinations is one of the reasons I love Hong Kong, not to mention the beautiful landscapes and relaxing parks.
Socially, Hong Kong provides a lot of opportunities for tourists and locals to enjoy. As a multicultural city, Hong Kong has blended in different cultures from all around the world. For example, the versatility of the cuisines available in Hong Kong is superb and tremendous. For instance, Indian, British, Japanese, Korean, Italian and American are just a few types of cuisines Hong Kong offers. For tourists, apart from tasting our delicious Chinese food, you can also get to taste the gourmet delicacies offered by other restaurants, be they snacks or desserts. While the cuisine is one big part, the social atmosphere is very nice too. Our city is also safe, under the guard of our professional police force. It’s good for tourists as pick pocketing is not so serious compared to other cities.
What’s more, the transportation in Hong Kong is well developed and people around the world can enjoy the comfortable and efficient transportation. To begin with, our subway system is second to none. The railway system is well designed, cheap, regular, and efficient. The map is planned so well that trains can go to almost everywhere around the city, whether popular tourists spots or residential areas. Believe me or not, the fare per ride is extremely cheap when compared to other cities like London and Tokyo. People can go to one place from another quickly by the railway system, simply because the trains come and go every five minutes or so. Trains are of clockwork precision-reliable and fast. Furthermore, the buses and minibuses are well-planned such that they go deep into every district and place. While our taxis might be a little difficult to catch, their speed and comfortability are the best I’ve ever seen. Sometimes when I get stuck in some place, I can always find a cab to take me home. Many tourists praise our robust transportation system, as it takes them to almost everywhere, nearly without any further annoying walks. Yes. Many places are within easy reach.
Despite the recent hiccups in the political field, Hong Kong really flourishes well in tourism and there’re so many things for me to love this city. The vibrancy and diversity in the attractions of all aspects make it special for people around the globe to appreciate. I hope you will be as excited and attracted as I’m after listening to my sharing. Thank you all.
