Let me tell you an interesting place. Many people like to go there and it’s not far from our school. We can reach there within 15 minutes. Where is it?
This building looks quite new and it’s blue in colour. There are many people in and out every day. It’s not a tall building but has still got 4 to 5 storeys inside. The most important thing is, there are air-conditioners! Therefore, it’s a really good place to go in summer. Whoever goes in usually wears a smiling face out. Somebody even carries some bags out! There are many shops and restaurants. Some of them look quite old. Maybe this building was built many years ago, so there are some old shops.
There is an escalator for people going up and down. Sometimes, I see students from our school or other schools having lunch there, in McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut and so on. Usually, people go there in the afternoon. Most of them are students and adults. They’re always happy when they go in.
I’ve just told you there are many people, right? Then, it is full of noises! We always hear people’s talking or walking everywhere, like “Let’s go to that shop.”, “Maybe we’ll have lunch at McDonald’s.”, “When will we go in the toy shop, mum?”… They’re just like a song. The sounds of people walking are like the sounds of drums. The sounds of talking are made by little kids, women and men. They’re the mixture of the flute, saxophone, violin and clarinet. The sounds of the forks and plates from the restaurants “cling, cling, cling” are the triangle! What a beautiful melody! Of course, we need imagination to hear the music.:-)
I like this place because I love going shopping and eating. This place is totally fit for me! Umm… the smells of different restaurants make my mouth water! French fries, hamburgers, rice, chicken wings, pizza, sandwiches etc. I want to have them all!
Where is this place? I won’t tell you now. I’m hungry and going to go eat now! See you there!
