Hi guys! How are you? I had my best day ever at the newly opened amusement park, Fantasy Island, which I visited with my family last week.
The theme park, its location and transport
Fantasy Island is a brand new amusement park opened on 1st January. Although it is located in Sai Kung, the transportation is quite convenient. You can take bus 198x, which has a bus stop at Exit A1 of Choi Hung MTR station. Minibus bus 93A is available as well, but it is $4 more expensive than bus 198x.
Things I liked about the theme park
The amazing roller coaster, Furious Dragon, is one of the attractions I must share. The Furious Dragon is the longest steel roller coaster in the world. It is 2809m, 330m longer than the former longest steel roller coaster. I think the ride is very enjoyable as it lasted for incredibly long. It goes up and down many times so you will never feel bored during the long ride. Screaming freely and making some noise is delightful, too. Another thing I liked about the park is the staff’s attitude in attending to customers. They were so friendly. A staff member who acted as a clown came and talked with me actively every time (3 times!) when he saw me.
My least favourite attraction
The bumper car is my least favourite ride because the dodger car is super hard to control—at least for me and my mother. We were being ‘attacked’ by the others but we could hardly fight back. I really hated it!
Must-play game
Other than the longest steel roller coaster in the world, the teacup rides is what I found amazing. The reason that I recommend it is that the decorations of the cups are beautiful. Each cup is decorated with impressive carvings which revolve around the theme of the sea such as the imaginary creature and mermaids. I was stunned by its appearance when I first saw it. One more plus about this ride is that it is the only electric facility that my 7-year-old brother would try as it is not as ‘stimulating’ as the others.
