Report on the common problems that F.5 students face and some possible solutions
I am writing to point out the common problems that the Form five students face and suggest some possible solutions to solve the problem.
Most of the Form five students think that they are lonely and no one cares about them. It is common to think so because they are under great pressure. For instance, they have many tests and much homework to do. Besides, most of the students focus on their work and they may sometimes ignore other classmates’ feelings. Therefore, most of the F.5 students feel unhappy and lonely.
To tackle with the above problem, I suggest our school could provide some social activities, for example, opening a chat room for the Form five students. It is important for them to express their opinions through talking with each other. This could help them build up a better relationship with each other so that they would not feel lonely and become cheerful.
Another common problem that Form five students face is that they have nowhere to study. As they will have HKCEE soon, a quiet place to study is essential for them. Some of them say that they have siblings and they cannot concentrate at home. Some of the Form five students say that there are lots of distractions, such as, TV, computer etc.
To solve the above problem, I suggest the school open some study class or self-study room which would be held after school for the Form five students. With the provision of these rooms, they could have more quiet places for study and their concentration would be better. Thus, their study would be more effective.
The third problem is that most of the Form five students worry about their future careers. Most of them do not know what career they should choose or which job will be suitable for each of them. Besides, they feel uncertain about their future.
To ease their worries about their future careers, I recommend the school hold some careers talk to introduce some careers to Form five students. Also, I suggest the students talk with their friends and teachers to ask for consultation about their future careers.
I truly hope that the above suggestions can solve the common problems of Form five students. I hope they can enjoy a happier life during Secondary five.
