It was a sunny day with a gentle breeze blowing outside. Mary and I thought that it was a perfect day to go shopping. However, no one would know that it was a real Black Friday…
On that day, I was shopping with Mary at Langham Place. It was our favourite activity, so we enjoyed the time. Suddenly a big man bumped into us and knocked our bags onto the floor.
“I’m really sorry,’ the man apologized.
We stared at the man angrily and bent down to pick our bags up. The man also helped us. At that time, we forgave him as he looked like a sincere man.
All things seemed to return to normal. The man left the place in haste. We continued to go shopping and walked towards a record shop. Mary found a CD which she loved and it was released by Britney Spears. She danced with excitement clutching the CD with her hands. She took the CD to the counter and reached into her bag for her wallet…
“My wallet was gone!” screamed Mary in horror.
At that time, we remembered the man who bumped into us.
“The man was a pickpocket!” we exclaimed.
We felt frustrated and looked around the shopping mall. All of a sudden, we discovered the man who was looking for a new wallet in the boutique, Laosmiddle Fashion.
“Despicable pickpocket, return my wallet to me!” Mary shouted aloud.
I was “on fire” and ran to the man. I pushed the man onto the ground harshly and said, “Let me call the police.”
At that time, Mary received a call. After the short conversation, Mary ran to me and whispered with embarrassment, “My mother told me that my wallet was left at home. He is innocent.”
“Should I say sorry to the man? The police are coming,” I thought.
At that critical moment, Mary and I saw a mobile phone drop out from the man’s pocket and it fell onto the ground. The background of the screen was Mary. There were more photos of Mary stored in his mobile phone.
“The man has been following me!” Mary screamed with fear.
Eventually, the police caught the crazy man, and we also had to go to the police station. It was a real Black Friday.
