Dear Miss Lee,
I had a deep thought after you asked me if I am spending my time on the right things. I think I spent too little time on my interests because I am always busy on weekdays. Your letter really reminds me that I should also spend more time playing instead of doing homework and studying for the whole day.
I read a book called “I’ve got a secret” which is written by Lara Bergen. This book is about Amanda’s school life after she told lies to her best friend, Allie, in summer camp but Allie was moving to her town. All the things became a mess because of her lies. Fortunately, her friends forgave her when they discovered the truth. I like this book because it has a meaningful message: Forgive your friend’s fault and don’t tell lies.
I think of a question “What would I do if I were her?” I think I’d tell my friends after I told lies to them. I believe they will understand and forgive me.
I don’t quite understand why Amanda could keep her secret from her friends and told lies to them. I think she doesn’t need to be worried that her friends will get angry with her because she should trust her friends.
I will forgive my friends when they tell lies and I will be honest to my friends after I read this book.
Wish you a great day!
Yours,
Rain
