Friday
The five foreign students could visit Dundas Street in Mongkok. This street sells many different kinds of snacks such as fried fishballs, yoghurt, pearl milk tea, egg puff – just to name a few. Many of them are unique to Hong Kong. It would be fun to try so many street foods. Actually there are other attractions in Mongkok, too. Goldfish Market, Flower Market, Yuen Po Street Bird Market and Ladies Market are all in the same district and have their own special features. The students would probably find it interesting to visit them.
Saturday
It is suggested that the overseas students go to Sai Kung. At Sai Kung Pier, some fishermen anchor their small boats along the shore, so they could buy fresh and living seafood directly from the owners. Also, there are many boats travelling around the area and we could rent one and take our visitors to, for example, KiuTsuiIsland, which is one of the most popular places to go. If not, visiting the fish farms would be a good idea, too. The students could know more about Hong Kong fish cultivating through the visit. If time allows, we could even take them to Hong Kong Geopark – our latest scenic spot, where the students could appreciate the landscapes that can only been seen in a few places in the world.
Sunday
I suggest that we take the students to Central and walk along Dr Sun Yat-Sen Historical Trail. Seeing the connection between Dr Sun Yat-Sen and Hong Kong, the foreign students could know how important our city is to the development of mainland China. In the evening, I suggest that we take them to the Peak by the peak tram. The night view of Hong Kong from the peak is so famous in the world that the students would not want to miss it. It would be just perfect to end their trip with one of the three most beautiful night views in the world.
