First, I think that being satisfied is crucial. Are you feeling unhappy because you are not as wealthy as the billionaires? In Ethiopia, Kenya, Cambodia, billions of people are being worn down by illness and famine, facing malnutrition and poverty. They all have a more despairing life than us and we have a higher living quality than them. So, stop muttering, and just be content with your life! Besides, we should not be distressed because of our concern for money and material possessions. Bhutan was once the happiest country in Asia. Although it has a closed and lagged economy, its citizens are spiritually plentiful. In recent years, the economic growth in Bhutan brings the people wealth and at the same time more wants. They leave the villages and migrate to the urban areas to earn more money. The GNH, Gross National Happiness of Bhutan plummets. They gradually give up their own system of values because of the enticement of materialism. Money brings people frustration. Therefore, feeling contended is a key to happiness. If you can extricate yourself from temptation, you will have a happier life!
Another secret is to be relaxed. Don’t give yourself too much pressure. Just take a rest, listen to music, eat some snacks when you are vexed, and ― never blame yourself unreasonably!
