I am very happy to receive your letter. I miss you so much!
I love reading too. I’ve read about ten books so far. I joined the BOB team of Carmel. ‘BOB’ stands for ‘Battles of Books’. All the team members need to ‘eat’ some of the books which are provided by the organization. The books are all extremely thick. We have to read them many times and remember most of the details. In May, we will join a competition. The judges will ask us some questions based on the content of the books. We need to answer each question in five seconds. I have read 3 ‘BOB’ books already. Although it was tough, I enjoyed it since I learnt a lot from the books.
Besides, I am very pleased with my UT results. I studied very hard and obtained a very good result. My rank in the form has improved so much. Last year, my rank was 25. In this UT, my rank is 14! However, I cannot be too happy. Otherwise, the results of the coming exam may be affected by my emotion. I hope to keep it up and make more improvement in the coming exam.
In the last picnic, our class went to Tai Mo Shan Country Park. It was fun! We had a barbecue and played volleyball. This year, my class was great! Actually, I was a little bit unhappy with this class at the beginning of the school term. I missed my previous class. However, when I started to make friends with my new classmates, I love this class very much.
There were some exciting events this year. The Dodge Ball Competition had finished. Our class beat 3 classes including one F.3 class and won the 1st runner-up! We were thrilled. We had practised many times after school and we performed extremely well in the competition. The Sports Day was also fantastic. I joined the 200m sprint, 400m sprint, inter-house 4×100 relay and 4x400m relay. At last, I got 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals! It was really unforgettable!
Christmas and the New Year are coming. However, I still haven’t planned for going on a trip because I am quite busy. I hope to spend most of the time during the holidays studying. Oh! It’s time for bed. Write to you next time. Take care!
